Barefoot Running
Barefoot running has been getting more publicity lately with the publication of Born to Run by Chris McDougal. Barefoot runners are small and insiginifcant but vocal minority who seem to suffer some sort of attention seeking disorder. They makes constant claims about the evils of running shoes, but have never produced any evidence to back up the claims. They are so gullible that that fell for so much of the fiction that is in Born to Run becasue of the blinders they wear and becasue they want to believe. Whenever research appears about barefoot running, they always twist it and misrepresent it into support what they are saying. They keep pretending that there are so many people opposed to barefoot running and attack the messenger rather than the message, which just displays the weakness of the claims that they make about barefoot running. Maybe they should just be ignored and hopefully they will go away and stoping touting barefoot running with all the nonsense, unscientific jibberish and mumbo jumbo that they do. Barefoot running debates are also happening in more languages than just english! The athletic trainers are also discussing barefoot running.
